- Coordinating project (MarEs Comunidad) on developing sustainable strategies for reducing sea turtle bycatch in small-scale fisheries in Mexico in support of the USMCA free trade agreement (Collaborators: Grupo Tortuguero de las Californias, NOAA, Arizona State University; Client: US Trade Rep via NFWF)
- Collaboration to reduce leatherback bycatch in small-scale fisheries in Trinidad and Tobago (Collaborators: Arizona State University, T&T Turtle Bycatch Working Group; Client: NFWF)
- Co-coordinated scoping analysis of opportunities to build climate resilience in select marine fisheries; Full report and executive summary available here; contributed to landscape analysis for potential impact investments to promote small-scale fisheries sustainability in Mexico (Collaborators: EcoAdvisors; Client: Walton Family Foundation)
- Expert review of fisheries improvement projects, specifically evaluation of endangered, threatened, and protected species bycatch management, and for Marine Stewardship Council standard review process, including development of productivity attributes for out-of-scope species (Clients: Sustainable Fisheries Partnership, Marine Stewardship Council)
- Collaborated on study of effects of rebuilding global fisheries on protected species populations that showed the potential for "win-win" management strategies that simultaneously achieve fisheries and conservation goals (See publication in Science)

- Co-coordinating, Eastern Pacific Leatherback Conservation Network (Red Laúd del Océano Pacífico Oriental). We are an international network of people dedicated to collaboratively reversing the decline of critically endangered leatherback sea turtles. Network includes biologists and conservation organizations from Mexico, Central America, and South America (Clients: National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, USFWS Marine Turtle Conservation Fund)
- Technical and facilitation support for development of population status assessments and bycatch reduction strategies in support of regional action plan for NW Atlantic leatherbacks (Collaborators: WWF-Guianas, Conservation Science Partners; Client: NFWF)
- Coordinating efforts to develop a coherent, rangewide approach to land-use management to recovery the federally listed Mojave desert tortoise across Bureau of Land Management areas. (Collaborators: Conservation Science Partners; Client: US Bureau of Land Management).
- Long-term monitoring of threatened desert tortoises in response to a large-scale renewable energy project for which we were honored with the Richard C. Stebbins Award for Research from Desert Tortoise Council, awarded to Conservation Science Partners (Client: NRG Energy)

- Subject matter expert, MC 20 NRDA pre-assessment (Client: NOAA via IEc)
- Assessment of impacts of Deepwater Horizon oil spill on marine resources, particularly sea turtles and birds. Managed team of biologists, veterinarians, toxicologists, and other specialists to assess potential impacts of oil exposure and developing and scaling restoration plans to address those impacts (Clients: NOAA, Dept of Justice, Louisiana CPRA).
- Co-developed guidelines for oil spill response and assessment activities for sea turtles (Client: NOAA).
- Long-term restoration planning under DWH Programmatic Damage Assessment and Restoration Plan, Regionwide Strategic Frameworks, and Open Ocean and Regionwide Trustee Implementation Groups, for sea turtles and birds (Clients: NOAA, Dept of Justice, Louisiana CPRA, Dept of Interior).
- Assessment of natural resource damages due to long-term PCB contamination in Washington state (Collaborators: Abt Associates; Clients; Baron and Budd, State of Washington)

Ecolibrium has collaborated on many research projects ranging from primary, field-based animal ecology to synthesis of disparate information to provide holistic perspectives for conservation prioritization.
Primary study subjects over the years have been endangered species, specifically marine megafauna such as sea turtles. But we’ve also worked on other species and systems, from to the Eastern Pacific Ocean to the Gulf of Mexico to the Mojave Desert, and several stops in between.
