At our core, we are field researchers who love to directly observe and get to know who or what we're working with. We have led and collaborated on primary research in ecology and conservation for nearly 20 years. We can help with projects ranging from fisheries management to ecophysiology, from oceans to deserts. We can also help with data analyses and technical writing and editing.
We thrive in facilitation mode, helping groups develop coherent, holistic conservation strategies. Whether an international network of researchers and conservation groups or multiple offices of a single government agency, we can help to 'herd the cats' through development of conservation priorities and strategic plans to accomplish shared management and conservation goals.
We have decades of experience with environmental status assessments in a variety of contexts: scientific, management, or legal. Whether fisheries sustainability, or endangered species status, or effects of pollution on natural resources, we are experienced in synthesizing vast and vastly different types of information to generate a coherent story.
